My pledge to the Citizens of Glendora is to listen and then lead, to be an advocate for all.

Michael Allawos for Glendora City Council

I am asked on a regular basis what I mean by “Hometown Values”. They go something like this: Opening our homes to our neighbors, sharing our thoughts, ideas and dreams with each other. Looking out for each other in good times and bad; saying hello to each other on the streets and sidewalks. Protecting our way of life is paramount, which requires controlling our growth in a responsible and balanced manner that fits our lifestyle and community. Hometown Values are important to me and my family. We moved here to Glendora because of the values that Glendora projected. Cynthia and I raised our two children here because Glendora fit our moral values and had the atmosphere of a friendly small town.

I started another business here as an investment into our way of life, sharing our hometown with the many visitors that we host from around the world on a regular basis. Please come and join me in my campaign to ensure that we have a local government that listens to our needs, wishes and dreams without sacrificing our future and values. We are a unique City; let’s keep it that way with our “Hometown Values”.
